Our Story
The Unpaid CEO was born from a deeply personal journey.
After becoming a mother, our founder, Mrs. S, struggled to balance building a career with the demands of raising a family. Like many women, she stepped away from work, only to find it difficult to return — her experience as a full-time mother undervalued and overlooked.
She realized she wasn’t alone. Women everywhere are expected to run their households like CEOs — managing everything from finances to childcare — without recognition or pay, all while chasing personal ambitions.
In 2020, Mrs. S launched The Unpaid CEO as a blog to share her story. It quickly became a supportive community for women navigating the same challenges. We provide resources, community, and inspiration for women who refuse to choose between ambition and motherhood. Our mission is to celebrate and empower the modern woman — at home, in the workplace, and everywhere in between.
